Class Three plant an orchard!

Early March

Last week, just before Spring officially arrived, Year five and six pupils trekked over to our school field, armed with spades, pick-axes, fruit trees and wellies!

The rain held off as we dug our holes and planted our mix of cherry, plum and apple trees.

Our thanks to Mrs McLernon, Mrs Price and Mrs Power, who all helped with the hard graft!

Also thanks to Henry Antemes' Grandad, Bob, who supplied us with some lovely manure!
